Have A Great Weekend

Most of us want to spend the weekend with our family because it is a bonding moment after office days. We have different activities on how to enjoy the weekend. Some go to the malls to do shopping, watch a movie, eat in their favorite restaurant or simply stroll and unwind. Some visit their relatives and eat together. Some just simply stay home and spend the day watching a lot of movies or cooking their favorite dishes. But anyway, it doesn't matter how we spend the weekend, what is important is the enjoyment and happiness which are priceless and the additional memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Boy Abunda's The Bottomline

I am a fan of the one year old reality talk show "The Bottomline" because I admire how Boy conducts his interviews to the most controversial and influential personalities not only in the country but abroad as well.

One thing more, the concept of the said show is not the usual type of a reality talk show wherein it's just between the interviewer and interviewee. I love the discussion part of the bottomliners because I get to hear variety of views and opinions from different opinionated people and there I am learning. I am fascinated on how Boy was able to get frank and honest answers from the guests because not all talk show hosts have this ability. The bottomline is, more power to the country's King of Talk, Boy Abunda.

Gandang Gabi Vice

One of the tv shows I really look forward to is Vice Ganda's Sunday evening show.

I just simply love it coz' it's my way of treating myself after all the mommy stuffs I have to do after office work. The show brings out the child in me. I keep on laughing during the entire show. It seems so "mababaw" of me but that's simply me. And I get to discharge all the negative vibes by just simply watching and laughing afterwards. I really love all the punchlines of Vice Ganda, they're so havey na havey and "lakas ng dating". More power to you and your show!

I'm looking forward to meeting you in person someday.

Great Love & Great Tragedy Go Hand in Hand

The title of my post really caught my attention while watching the interview of Nicholas Sparks at The Bottomline with Boy Abunda. This was exactly the answer of Nicholas when asked why some of his novels are about love and tragedy.  Sparks is one of the best novelist I've ever known. He is one among the bestselling authors worldwide. But amid all the achievements, he is still very humble. Hopefully, someday I'll meet him in person and get a chance to talk to him.

One of my favorites among his works is "A Walk To Remember", it is a very touching story. It proves that great love really exists because that's the ending I want for the novel. But nevertheless, when we say great love it is always coupled with tragedy. When I say tragedy, it may be a problem or a challenge that someone will experience for the sake of great love. But the bottom line is, great love is a treasure that's why once you've found it, do everything to keep it for life.

And probably won't get on each other's nerves as much.

4. Have girlfriends

A lot of wives have this impression that girlfriends should fall away after marriage.

This is incredibly wrong.

Your girlfriends are the people who help you vent your marital frustrations. They provide you a support system that will help you weather through the toughest times of your marriage.

So if you want to grow old with your husband, make sure some close girlfriends are growing old with you too.
